BIOGRAPHY OF KAPIL DEV

KAPIL DEV RAMLAL NIKHANJ
(Born on January 6, 1959, Chandigarh, India), Born into a middle-class family in Haryana he became interested in cricket at a young age. He played for the Haryana cricket team at the beginning of his career eventually making his way into the national team, thanks to his agressive play and high energy level. He is the Greatest Pace Bowler In the Country's History. Confident, Charismatic and Highly Skilled, he was the Indian team's Main Strike bowler for the major part of his career. During his Heydays he used to Bamboozle batsmen with his prodigious Swing. Dev was great not just with the ball; he was equally talented with the bat too. An expert at hooking and driving, he often provided India with the crucial runs needed to win a match even if the top-order failed to score. He is the only cricketer to have scored over 5,000 runs and taken more than 400 wickets in TEST ( International match) Cricket.
Dev captained the Indian cricket team that won the 1983 CRICKET WORLD CUP, and in the process became the first Indian Captain to win the cricket World Cup, and is still the youngest captain (at the age of 24) to win the world Cup for any team. He retired in 1994, at the times of holding the world record for the highest number of wickets taken in TEST CRICKET. At the time, he was was also India's highest wicket-taker in both major forms of cricket, TESTS and ODIs. He is the first player to take 200 ODI Wickets.

The well-known co-working space Innov8 was founded by Dr Malik himself. Currently, Dr Ritesh Malik is the Founder & Trustee at Plaksha, a mission aimed to teach not just technology but life skills, self-awareness, curiosity, and the ability to think creatively and carefully. Over the years, he has invested in more than 80+ startups.
Malik’s ji decision to support investors instead of remaining in a medical profession shaped his life interestingly. The main reason behind his decision was that while he could reach 100 patients a day as a doctor, leveraging technology can help him reach at least 100 million in a day.
Dr Malik are entrepreneurship development in India, co-working, angel investment, healthcare, education, and inspiration.

BIOGRAPHY OF JITENDER SINGH SHUNTY

Jitender Singh Shunty (born 1 August 1962), is an Indian politician and social worker. Shunty was elected as a member of the Legislative Assembly from Shahdara from Bhartiya Janta Party in 2013. He is the founder of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Seva Dal, an NGO that helps to cremate unclaimed bodies and immerse the ashes as guided by the Hindu and Sikh religion.
Jitender Singh Shunty is the founder of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Sewa Dal in 1996 and Shaheed-Ae-Azam Bhagat Singh Foundation. The NGO was established with the objective of saving lives through promoting availability, accessibility and effectiveness of emergency services in the developing world. It organises cremations for the poor & abandoned, and helped cremate 4,000 during second Covid wave. With its head office in New Delhi, India, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Sewa Dal works in more than 5 states of India. Sewa Dal’s approach is guided by its vision of a world where everyone avails basic emergency services and no one is denied of their last rites, in which services are provided for the benefit of all.
He started his career in politics as an independent councillor from Jhilmil ward in Delhi. However, he became a part of the BJP in 2008 and contested the councillor elections from Jhilmil ward of the East municipal corporation and won the elections. He contested his first Delhi Assembly election in 2013, and won from the Shahdara constituency with 45,364 votes.
In 2021, Jitender Singh Shunty received India's prestigious award Padma Shri for his services during Covid crises. Jitender Singh Shunty dedicates his Padma Shri Award to fellow frontline workers.
